Rationale

Determining whether the privileges and immunities granted for the Organisation Internationale de la Francophonie et l’institut de l’énergie et de l’environnement de la Francophonie must be maintained.

Narrative

The Order allows Canada to fulfill its international commitments to both the Organisation internationale de la Francophonie and Institut de la Francophonie pour le développement durable.

The « Institut de l’énergie et de l’environnement de la Francophonie » is now the « Institut de la Francophonie pour le développement durable » (IFDD). This would likely be the only change to the Privileges and Immunities Order.
