Global Affairs Canada’s Departmental Sustainable Development Strategy:

Describes our sustainable development context and vision;
Considers public comments made during public consultations on the draft 2022 to 2026 Federal Sustainable Development Strategy to inform our departmental approach, as appropriate;
Defines the actions we will undertake going forward over a four-year period to support the Federal Sustainable Development Strategy;
Explains how we integrate a sustainable development approach into our departmental policies, plans and decision-making; and

Captures initiatives that support Sustainable Development Goal that fall outside the scope of the FSDS.
