About the council
Canada’s new, private-sector Strategic Exports Advisory Council brings together leaders from key sectors of the Canadian economy to provide strategic advice to the Government of Canada on trade diversification opportunities and challenges.
Chaired by the Honourable Maninder Sidhu, Minister of International Trade, the council will support the government in determining how to best support the private sector in diversifying Canada’s trade.
Canada has what the world wants. By strengthening current partnerships and building new ones with allies, the private sector and investors, Canada is expanding its exports footprint in international markets and creating new opportunities for trade and economic growth.
