Susan Yurkovich

Susan Yurkovich is President and Chief Executive Officer of Canfor Corporation, a global manufacturer of forest products with operations in Canada, the United States and Europe. A respected leader in Canada’s natural resources sector, she brings more than 30 years of experience, including prior roles as President and Chief Executive Officer of the British Columbia Council of Forest Industries and President of the British Columbia Lumber Trade Council, where she represented the industry on trade matters, including the Canada-United States softwood lumber dispute. Ms. Yurkovich serves as a Director of the Binational Softwood Lumber Council, the Softwood Lumber Board, and FortisBC, and is a member of the Faculty Advisory Board at the University of British Columbia’s Sauder School of Business.
