Ron Bedard

Ron Bedard is President and Chief Executive Officer of ArcelorMittal Dofasco, Canada’s largest flat-rolled steel producer, a member of the ArcelorMittal Group Management Committee, and Chair of the Canadian Steel Producers Association.

A 37-year veteran of the North American steel industry, M. Bedard has held senior executive roles in both Canada and the United States over his career. He is a leading advocate for people and policy in manufacturing, particularly with regards to fair trade of steel and steel derivatives.

M. Bedard holds a Doctorate in Business Administration from Liberty University, a master’s in business administration from the University of Sunderland, and an undergraduate degree in Management Studies/Business Administration from McMaster University.
