The Honourable Ralph Goodale

The Honourable Ralph Goodale was a Member of Parliament from Saskatchewan for more than 30 years, and served as cabinet minister for trade-related portfolios such as Finance, Agriculture, Natural Resources and Public Safety (i.e., border security/CBSA during the first Trump presidency). Mr. Goodale then served a further five years as Canada’s High Commissioner in the United Kingdom, being recognized as Diplomat of the Year in 2025 and earning the “Freedom of the City of London” for his work to strengthen Canada-United Kingdom relationships. The value of two-way investment and trade between Canada and the United Kingdom is now approaching $600 billion.
