Magali Picard

Magali Picard is a proud member of the Wendat Nation and an activist for the rights of Indigenous peoples and women. She was elected president at the 33rd convention of the Fédération des travailleurs et travailleuses du Québec (FTQ) in January 2023, and re-elected for a second term in November 2025, after serving as vice-president of the FTQ and the Fonds de solidarité FTQ, national executive vice-president of the Public Service Alliance of Canada (PSAC) and president of the PSAC Quebec Council.

Magali Picard is Executive Vice-Chair of the Board of Directors and a member of the Executive Committee of the Fonds de solidarité FTQ.

She is also a member of the Canadian Council and Executive Committee of the Canadian Labour Congress (CLC) and the General Council of the International Trade Union Confederation (ITUC). She is also a member of the Labour and Manpower Advisory Committee (CCTM).
