Candace Laing

Candace Laing has served as President and Chief Executive Officer of the Canadian Chamber of Commerce since September 2024. Ms. Laing is leading a transformational mandate to renew the Chamber in support of nation building, business building, and community building. With nearly three decades of experience across mining, agriculture, education and healthcare sectors, she has held progressive leadership roles in Corporate Affairs and Human Resources. A Fellow of Chartered Professionals in Human Resources, Ms. Laing holds a Bachelor of Commerce with Distinction, Graduate Certificates in Public Policy Analysis from the University of Saskatchewan, and Corporate Sustainability and Innovation from Harvard University, and a Master of Arts in Leadership from Royal Roads University.
